Kidston Elementary School is located in the sunny Okanagan valley in the Municipality of Coldstream, and is part of the Greater Vernon community.
We are currently meeting the educational needs of approximately 265 students enrolled for the 2011-2012 school year, from Kindergarten through Grade 7. There are eighteen teaching staff, two administrators, an itinerant counsellor, a library resource teacher, two Learning Support teachers, in addition to thirteen support staff (clerical, CEA's, custodian, noon hour and bus supervisors) who work together to ensure that all students are actively engaged in their learning in an environment that facilitates belonging. We take pride in being a welcoming school community, with high standards of achievement in academics, fine arts, athletics, and social responsibility.
